Priests tread the boards
Comment Email Print
¬†This event has been cancelled - but the priests promise they'll be back. We'll let you know when. That all-singing all-dancing show the Clergy Revue is descending on Llandudno on 8 June. North Wales Theatre is the venue for the popular CAFOD fundraiser. Twenty-five priests - among them an Elvis impersonator, a jazz singer and a piper - will be performing. The entire ensemble will perform a line dance sequence and a number of surprises are on the cards. CAFOD Wales organiser Elfed Jones said: "If you ever wanted to see the hidden talent rarely revealed in the pulpit - now is your chance. We are expecting people to travel a long distance to see this show. Book early to ensure tickets." The CAFOD Clergy Revue has been staged in various major venues around England and Wales since it started in 1987. More than 30,000 people have attended shows and they have raised more than £130,000 for CAFOD. For information or tickets call: Elfed Jones on: 029 2045 3360.
