Priests gather for annual conference
The National Conference of Priests begins today at Trinity and All Saints College in Leeds. Around 75 priests and 25 observers are expected to attend the five-day event. The theme this year is: Priesthood - Dying and Rising (Healing Priesthood). There will be two keynote speakers. On 4 September, Rev Gerard Egan will address the conference on: Healing Priesthood, and on 5 September, Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor, will speak on: The State of the Church in England and Wales.
