TV celebrity wins for CAFOD

¬†TV presenter and DJ Dermot O'Leary scooped £32,000 last night, for Catholic aid agency CAFOD. Dermot won the prize money on a celebrity edition of Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Dermot, who is a Catholic, learnt about CAFOD when he was at school in Essex. Since then he has helped the agency launch the youth fundraising scheme Fast Track, and has been interviewed for its Between the Lines magazine for young people. Cathy Corcoran, head of external relations said: "Dermot is a valued supporter ..We are delighted to have support from such a high profile celebrity. Of course the £32,000 will help us with our work overseas." Dermot is currently appearing in BBC's SAS - Are you Tough Enough? He has also presented Channel 4's The Big Breakfast and T4 and is a successful radio DJ on Xfm.
