Service to celebrate life of Bishop Victor Guazzelli
A service to celebrate the life and work of Bishop Victor Guazzelli, takes place in London on Friday 17 September. Bishop Victor, who died in June, was an advocate for justice and peace and a long-standing supporter of many organisations and groups nationally as well as in Westminster and East London. Organised by CIIR, CAFOD and Pax Christi, the service will draw on different elements of his concerns for peace and justice. The service will be held at 7pm at St Aloysius Church, Phoenix Road, Euston. All are welcome. A social event will take place afterwards to give people the chance to toast Bishop Victor and share their stories and memories of him. Christine Allen, executive director of CIIR said: "I do hope you will be able to come. Please inform any friends or colleagues who you think would appreciate this opportunity to celebrate the life of this extraordinary man." Source: CIIR
