Wales: Franciscans host day for seekers
Comment Email Print
¬†The Franciscan Friary in Pantasaph, North Wales, is holding a special afternoon for those interested in exploring the Catholic faith, on Sunday, October 16. Set in one of the most beautiful part parts of Wales, the Friary is also home to the National Shrine of St Pio. The afternoon will offer a 'spiritual tour', meditation time, space for questions and story telling. Team members will also be available to talk with people individually. The afternoon is one of a series of events at Pantasaph, which has been designated as a 'Seekers Centre' in a new scheme launched by the community with CASE, (the Catholic Agency to Support Evangelisation). CASE director, Mgr Keith Barltrop said: "This event and others happening at the Friary came about in response to people, who are not Catholics, telling us what they were looking for ≠ there is such a genuine thirst to experience authentic spirituality ≠ and that's what these events aim to provide. Visitors are free to come and take a look without having to make any commitment; to dip their toes so to speak! Pantasaph itself is a beautiful place which seems to feed people's hearts and souls in a very special way." For more information, visit:
