Runners join London marathon for Jesuit missions
Comment Email Print
¬†On Saint George's Day, Sunday, the 23rd of April, 33 runners, representing Jesuit Missions, will be speeding through the streets of London to help raise money for missions in Guyana, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe. These runners, who hope to raise £60 000, will come from across England and include Jesuits, benefactors, teachers, pupils from Jesuit schools, and the famous Wombles. Jesuit Missions are also recruiting for next year's London Marathon, so those inspired by the scenes of courage and tenacity seen on the television can call the office to sign up.
