Comment Email Print
The Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor and Brother Alois, prior of the Taizé Community will join in Taizé prayer at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 18th November at 6.15pm. A song practice before the evening prayer takes place at 4pm in St Margaret's Church, Westminster (next to the Abbey) for those who want to sing in the "choir". Also at 4pm there will be workshops on the following biblical and social themes in different locations: ' Come, follow me!' but what is it that God expects of us? (Biblical reflection with a brother of the Community) at Westminster Cathedral Hall, Ambrosden Avenue, SW1. Living and working with people of other faiths -what can we share, how can we become friends? At Methodist Central Hall (Aldersgate Room) -opposite the Abbey. Including those on the margins of society -what can we do? (Short presentations followed by sharing of experiences) at St Matthew's Church, Great Peter St., SW1. If any venue becomes full then some participants will be redirected to another workshop or to the song practice. For further details see: www.taize.fr/Westminster
