Catholics wanted at Glastonbury Festival
Would you like to be part of a community helping at this year's
Glastonbury Festival? And become part of the Christian Church
willing to demonstrate the love of Christ in action by offering
festival goers a warm welcome, space to reflect and a willingness
to listen? If so, Doug Lowe a parishioner at St Teresa's Catholic
Church in Taunton wants to hear from you.
The Sanctuary Marquee - the 'Church at the Festival', needs people to look after it while the festival is running - and we're looking for volunteers to cover the days and nights from 1pm on Thursday 21 June to 1pm on Monday 25 June.
You'll need to be able to commit to important training days on 8 and 9 June, be over 18 (on 8 June 2007) and live in the south west, whilst the Sanctuary Marquee will provide you with quality training, and perhaps the opportunity of lifetime to enjoy Glastonbury's world class festival.
The Sanctuary Marquee works with Somerset Churches Together and provides the 'Church at the Festival' which can be found on Church Lane on the festival site.
So if you'd like to be part of the team, or for more information, please emailing Doug Lowe honestdoug@worldonline.co.uk by a 24 March.
