London: Fairtrade Fortnight film event

To mark the Fairtrade Fortnight 2008, the Phoenix Cinema at 52 High Road, East Finchley, London, N2, will be screening two films on 2 March from 2pm to 6.30pm. The films will highlight the plight of farmers/producers and their communities in the developing world that are directly influenced by choices made by us when shopping for commodities in supermarkets and elsewhere. There will be a speaker and an opportunity to ask questions from a developing world producer. There will also be various displays and further information about fairtrade goods.
