Homeless charity ventures into cyberspace

Young homeless charity, the Cardinal Hume Centre in Westminster, launched their award-winning website on Monday at a special reception.

Designed by a team of volunteers who work for management consultants Bain and Co, the site won top prize in their 'Charit-e competition'.

The website at www.cardinalhumecentre.org.uk offers a glimpse of life at the centre. It gives full details of services provided and will keep supporters plans for the future.

The Cardinal Hume Centre is currently raising money to build extra bedrooms for young homeless people. At present there are four times as many young people referred to the Centre's hostel as there are available bed spaces.

If you would like to make a donation to help homeless young people rebuild their lives post cheques to: The Cardinal Hume Centre, 3-7 Arneway Street, Horseferry Road, London SW1P 2BG.
