Gerry Coates to give concerts for Cardinal Hume Centre

Catholic singer, songwriter and poet, Gerry Coates, will be giving a series of concerts in aid of the Cardinal Hume Centre, to support the Centre's work with homeless and badly housed young people and families.

The concerts will take place throughout November and December in parish halls across London and the South, culminating in a performance in the Westminster Cathedral Hall on Saturday, 15 December.

Gerry's live performance, described as "a foot tapping musical mission", leads the audience to think deeply about God, life, and how they treat those in need. His lyrics explore themes of faith and forgiveness, friendship and poverty, miracles, and more.

The concerts are free. There will be a collection taken in aid of the Cardinal Hume Centre at each event.

Gerry's performances in the Diocese of Westminster are:

17 Nov - Hampton St Theodore of Canterbury
23 Nov - Edgware St Anthony of Padua
26 Nov - Kentish Town Our Lady of Help of Christians
27 Nov - Northfields SS Peter and Paul
28 Nov - Euston Somerstown St Aloysius
29 Nov - Hillingdon St Bernadette
30 Nov - Greenford Our Lady of the Visitation
08 Dec - Hitchin Our Lady Immaculate and St Andrew

A further ten concerts will be taking place in the Diocese of Southwark and the Diocese of Brentwood. For more information call: Gerry on 020 8974 6590, or email gc003f8342@blueyonder.co.uk
