'Walk with Me' is a weekly series of podcasts for Advent 2007,
introduced by Archbishop Vincent Nichols, and featuring music
from Joanne Boyce and Mike Stanley of CJM Music.
There are eight podcasts, one for each of seven weeks from Advent
through to Jesus' baptism, designed to help people pray through
Advent and Christmas. They are free of charge and can be used
alongside the 'Walk with Me' journey of prayer booklets for Advent
published and available from Alive Publishing or as
a stand alone 12-minute pause for prayer and reflection at this
busy time of the year.
Each weekly podcast consists of a song and reflection based on
a key theme from the coming week's scripture. There is also the
opportunity to reflect before joining in with the 'Walk with Me'
prayer.
Archbishop Vincent said: "It is our hope that this preparation
will help us to deepen our understanding of who is coming and
to prepare a welcome in our hearts to be open to receive Him and
the gifts He wants to give us."
These podcasts which have been produced by CJM Music are also
freely available on iTunes under the title 'Walk with Me'.
