Summer camp for children

Would your children like to get away this summer? Then why not send them to camp for a week?

At the St John Bosco Centre near Colchester a week's camping break for 9 - 12 year olds has something to appeal to all tastes. There's mountain biking, boating, fishing, swimming, orienteering, nature study, arts and many more activities. All equipment is supplied and all activities take place within the 43-acre site. The inclusive cost for the week is just £63. Pocket money for the tuck shop and a sleeping bag are all that's required.

There are three weeks for boys: 22-29 July; 29 July - 5 August; and 5 - 12 August.

One week for girls: 12-19 August.

The camp is run by the St Vincent De Paul Society.

For details about the boys' camps call: Mrs Kavanagh on: 01277 634410; for the girls' camp call: Mrs Reed on: 01634 310521.
