St Mary's student is breakdance champion

Dean Reeve, a third year student at St Mary's University College, Twickenham has won the UK University B-Boy (Breakdancing) Championship 2007 held at Newcastle University.

He has been invited to represent the UK at a government-sponsored championship in Seoul in June. Later that month he is competing in the European heats in France to qualify for the World championships taking place in South Africa later in the year.

Dean has been dancing since 1999 and has been competing internationally since 2003. He won the solo award at the Battle of Britain event in Derby in 2004 to become the British B-boy champion. In 2005 he represented Great Britain in the UK B-Boy Championships. He is about to graduate from St Mary's University College with a degree in Drama and Physical Theatre.
